HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT
The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Finance was established on 5 February 1964 in response to the defence needs of independent Nigeria to train officers for the Armed Forces of Nigeria. Before then, the institution was known as the Royal Military Forces Training College (RMFTC). After independence in 1960, it became known as the Nigerian ... Military Training College.
The finances of the academy is managed by the Directorate of Finance (DOF) who reports directly to the Commandant. He is responsible for the day-to-day administration and control of the financial affairs of the Academy. The Directorate is headed by an Army officer with the established rank of a Brigadier General. The current Director of Finance is Brigadier General TT Sidick.
